okay, so when i saw jukebox the ghost on friday, there was this opening band called ‘the spring standards’ with members: heather robb, james cleare and james smith. HOWEVER. i recently found out - recently being a few moments ago - that these three people were in a band before the spring standards called old springs pike with john gallagher jr who was the original moritz in spring awakening who i love, and i’m friends with these three people on facebook which means that through a degree of one i am connected, in a way, to john gallagher jr who connects to lea michele who connects to, like, the rest of the world and and this is all too overwhelming for a little sickly girl to handle right now.
Yes. John left Old Springs Pike early 2008. Old Springs Pike became The Spring Standards shortly after, when they began touring the country. When John is in New York City, he plays frequent solo shows there. He has started a nameless band with American Idiot co-starts Michael Esper and Gerard Canonico.
